Educational
Programs
Schools for children are
another project that VCI considers imperative. It is
the right of every child to
be able to read and write so that they may be able to
be given a hand up and out of their slum conditions.
Our Policy is "'No
Child Left Behind".
Widow's
Fund
VCI
seeks to help the many widows in various countries. When
you become a widow, you totally rely on your family and
seldom remarry. There are no state pensions or welfare of
any sort. Many widows are living in a very poor situation
and some
don't have any family to help them, or that even want them.
We have set up a widows fund which enables people to give
as little or as much as they can afford. These funds
are received
and distributed to these needy widows. We match our widows
up with our orphanages. The children need love and the widows
have much love to give.
Feeding
Centers
VCI
endeavors to give clean water and food to the hungry.
These basic necessities to live should never
be withheld from anyone, regardless of their age, color
or creed. VCI missions have feeding programs in many
of their 40 nations. Like the Sinai Slum Feeding Program
found in the heart of the largest slum in Nairobi, Kenya.
Little children would go hungry and sleep in unbelievable
conditions if it were not for the Sinai Slum Feeding
Program.
