The West Africa National Conference was Victory-filled and Life-impacting for the pastors and leaders of Nigeria, Lyberia, Benin Republic, Sierra Lyon, and the Ivory Coast. 2007 marks the seventh anniversary of the God-ordained meeting of Dr George Black (Pastor of Rejoice! Mid-South Victory Church, Mississippi) and now Bishop Timothy Ifedioranma (VCI Oversser of Nigeria and West Africa). The number seven being representative of completion and perfection, the atmosphere of the conference was the ushering in of the latter rain revival with abundant favor and a double-portion anointing. When Bishop Timothy joined VCI he oversaw 6 churches and now has 23; there was only a dream of a Bible College and now has 3. The Victory Vision is now in full implementation.

The team included Dr. George and Pastor Cathy Black, and Pastors Greg and Sharrah Gervais from Olive Branch, Mississippi; Shelley Black from California; and Pastor Tom Shumacher from St. Albert Victory Life Church, Alberta, Canada. Bishop Timothy and Pastor Mercy Ifedioranma hosted our team and the conference with a spirit of excellence and excitement. The vocalists worship leaders, choir, and musicians did a fantastic job of leading us in anointed African worship. During the conference we graduated 74 students, issued 26 diplomas and 48 certificates; 51 of the 74 were present for the conference and graduation. We had a total of 168 pastors in attendance for the morning sessions, 97 of which are current VCI members. There were 31 international delegates from West Africa and 26 from Nigeria. We ordained 25 ministers and licensed 12. Pastor Sharrah taught an afternoon workshop on youth ministry, which imparted the vision of the upcoming generation with such impact that many of the pastors have already implemented a youth ministry in their church. She also taught an evening youth service with salvations, rededications and prayed and prophecied over each. Pastor Cathy also did an evening children's sevice and ministered to the kids with a beautiful gospel message. The entire team taught during the morning and afternoon workshops and Dr. George, Pastor Greg and Pastor Tom all preached during the night services and also preached at different churches throughout the city on Sunday Morning.

Saturday was the Nigerian national elections. We used the opportunity to meet with each of the national representatives from the five West African nations to hear reports of the progress that is being made in each nation for the kingdom of God. There are many wonderful testimonies of the work the Lord is doing in each nation ad we are excited to see all that is to come! Our team was able to bless the West African pastors with 6 suitcases packed with donated gifts and they were absolutely blown away! Thank you to all those who gave towards the suitcases and those who gave of their time, finances and those who interceded with us for this mission. It truly was a successful conference and we are already seeing growth, increase and harvest in the lives and ministries of Victory Churches International, West Africa.
