Bishop Jude and Lucy Kiteta

In Kenya, Drs George and Hazel Hill and Pastor Les Bourassa taught and trained at the leadership conference. Bushop Jude and Lucy Kiteta, head of Victory Churches Kenya, led the team for street witnessing, market crusades and ministry in local churches. On Sunday, the team visited the Victory Churches in the outlying areas and conducted their services. They distributed all kinds of ministry tools and goodies for the children. They were a blessing to the churches and there was great rejoicing in the ranks! Bishop Jude danced for joy when the Ontario team gave him the new LCD projector he was believing for. Cappi Thornton of California Victory Church stayed behind in Kenya to assist Bishop Jude and Lucy after the team left for Safari. She reported preaching 12 times while she was there. Yes, all were stretched but loved it! Bishop Jude and Lucy Kiteta have a great piece of land that they are in the process of purchasing for the new Victory Vision Headquarteres for Kenya. Their ministry has grown so much over the past several years. We are very proud of their progress. They have established Hill's Bible College for training leaders, and over 20 churches and several outreaches to the poor. Bishop Jude has brought Uganda and Tanzania into the Victory family. Kenya is reaching the nations.

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and DR Congo were all present at this conference. They were encouraged and challenged under the preaching of Drs. George and Hazel Hill. Pastor Vitalis, an old friend and the very first registrar for VBCI Kenya was reunited with the Victory Family. Tears of joy flowed as we all embraced. Pastor Vitalis is pastoring a church he planted and oversees the Victory Churches in his area today. Welcome home Pastor Vitalis!

At the end of our time in Kenya, we went on a three-day safari to the Maasai Mara. It was a good break for all of us before heading to Rwanda.
