Rwanda Orphanage Update

On my latest trip to Rwanda, I had the pleasure of dedicating Bishop Joseph and Liberetta Kamanza's, our National Leaders in Rwanda, new son on Sunday, and they called the child "Dr. George" after Dr. George Hill.  What a cute baby!  In Africa, it is a great honor to have a child named after you.

While I was there, I did medical checks on all the children.  There are a few who need to visit a dentist, but on the whole, the kids are happy and healthy.

We have three HIV positive children out of the sixty children at the orphanage.  Since these children have come to us, there has been a significant change in their health.  In fact, the changes are supernatural.  Praise the Lord!  Please keep them in your prayers.

Family Night takes place every night, where a Bible story, worship, and discussion take place.  Games or a movie with popcorn happen friday nights, which are a great treat for the children and the mama's.

There is still a lot of work to be done at the orphanage.  We are really looking for Doctors, Nurses, people who can teach English as a Second Language, Primary School teachers, and anyone with a genuine love for children, to come visit.  If you can bring a team, or come alone to help us at the Victory Family, Home of Champions, you will be blessed!

It was difficult to leave the children at the end of my stay, but I know they are in good hands.

Soccar uniforms have been donated by Upward - a National Christian Youth Sports Organization.  A small team travelling to Rwanda at the end of June, will be bringing these 26 sets of uniforms for the children!  Praise God, this is an answer to prayer for our children.

Come see us sometime, and please keep us in your prayers.

Blessings,

Dr. Hazel Hill
