Your prayers and support make a difference! On January 12, 2010, the nation of Haiti was rocked by a devastating earthquake which killed tens of thousands and left many more homeless and without resource. Please continue to pray for this nation, as thousands of Haitians continue to struggle for food, water, and basic shelter. Your support changes lives! On January 24th we were blessed to learn that our Victory Leader in Haiti had survived the quake. Pastor Martin's entire family is alive and well, though their home was destroyed and several families in the church were killed. Please continue to pray for the Pastors of our other 6 churches in Haiti, as we do not yet know how they or their congregations have fared. Pastor Martin remains thankful to God, using this crisis as an opportunity to grow God's kingdom. He has already planted two new churches in villages surrounding the city of Port-au-Prince, and people continue to get saved everyday in the services he holds in the rubble. What the enemy meant for evil, God has turned for good! There is a silver lining for Haiti! Haiti is the newest nation to have joined the Victory Family, as they were officially incorporated October 2009. In the wake of the Haiti crisis, Drs George and Hazel Hill are taking a team to visit our Victory churches in Port-au-Prince. They leave February 21st and return on the 26th. They are taking a team of 9 people, including a camera man, two nurses, and Pastor Les Bourassa, who will oversee the constructions teams that will eventually go to help rebuild the Victory churches of Haiti. Drs George and Hazel will coordinate with Pastor Martin and come back with a strategic plan as to how we can rebuild. Get ready! Pray, prepare, and donate funds for this venture. Other teams will be going to Haiti in the following months.
