Haiti: Our Newest Victory Nation Now in Ruins! Victory Family, now is our time to shine and to show acts of kindness to our bothers and sisters in Haiti. All is lost there as dead bodies line the streets. Our National Leader in Haiti, Pastor Martin Etienne, is among the missing. We are asking for your prayers that he will be fine and contact us soon. Here is what I see as a plan to help: Right now Haiti needs doctors, nurses, fireman, the Red Cross, and other humanitarian organizations. They are the first response. BUT, we will have our chance. When the rush of aid is over, as it eventually will be, Victory can go in with construction teams and money and help our churches rebuild. We have (or had) 7 churches in Haiti. We pray all the people are alive and well, though we know the buildings are demolished. I am asking that all our churches take special offerings over the next three months and also see if there are construction workers and mission-hearted people in your churches who would consider going to help Pastor Martin and our other pastors and the poor slum kids we fed this past Christmas to rebuild. We have responded to every disaster in the past and I know we will do it again this time. India, Thailand, and the Philippines all received our help, and now Haiti is asking for help. If we don't help the churches, who will? The Red Cross? No, we all have our own mandates and ours is for the Kingdom of God. Money does not come easy, but we can always do our best by giving people a chance to sow.
